Description
Finally! Oh, this one took me so long! I experimented with coloring techniques, but ended up with the one I normally use...
Giulia is probably my favorite character of The Borgia's television series. Partly because I adore her attitudes and partly because the actress, Lotte Verbeek, was born very close to my home town
The dress she's wearing is from the very first episode where Rodrigo Borgia/Pope Alexander VI is showing her around cardinal Orsini's palazo. You know what's ironic? Giulia's real husband (as in the real historical figure) is also from the Orsini family. I haven't found out (yet) if the murdered cardinal actually existed or if this is something the script writers thought would be funny.
I can't vouch for the historical accuracy. It looks pretty good and real, but so are pretty much all costumes in The Borgia's (especially compared to The Tudors). I would say this dress could be from around 1490-1500, but I'm not 100% sure.
Her face might remind you a bit of Belle, because I used a BatB coloring page for the pose. As for the background, I found out that TwistedBrush does have a function for it, so I played around a bit
So now I can go back to my Disney series. Up next will be either the Queen of Hearts or Bo Peep, haven't decided yet, so your opinions are most welcome
