I decided to redesign Cinderella. Even though it has the most views out of all my historic Disney pieces, there are many things I don't like about it and my skills have grown a lot since I drew Cinderella for the first time.

This outfit is from around 1830. It has been mostly based on this lovely dress: www.pinterest.com/pin/31243791… This one also gave me the idea of combining it with Cinderella's pink dress, the one that gets torn to pieces. I'm not particularly fond of pink, but I believe that in this design it works. I adapted the dress a bit to fit her pose and added the jade jewelry. In the movie, Cinderella wears dark pink or red shoes with this dress. I tried that color but it was horrible! So I chose the glass slippers instead.

The hair and headband is based on this painting from 1831: www.pinterest.com/pin/31243791… It really looks familiar to Cinderella's new official design (btw, I don't really like this new design, it makes her look way too modern and childish), but it gives it a more historical twist.

The background is based on the scenes of Cinderella and her prince just before midnight, when they're dancing in the palace gardens.
