The new series is named Avatar: the legend of Korra (which some of you probably already knew). It takes place 70 years AFTER ATLA, which I believe is something quite unexpected. I was amongst the big group who believed it would be set in the past.

Korra is a teenage avatar from the Southern Water Tribe and the only element left for her to master is Air. Aang's son is going to help her.... that makes kataang even more official :crying: :crying: :crying: But hey, who knows, maybe maaaaybe perhaps it didn't (Yes, I still have hope for Zutara!) We'll just have to wait until 2011 :D

So apparently there's a new city where an anti-bending rebellion is taking place. That's going to be interesting. Unless the rebels know the same techniques as Ty Lee does (or did... oh I hope she'll be in the new series!) I have no clue how they're going to stop benders. Especially fire benders who hopefully still can bend without having to use another fire source like in the horrid movie.

Oh, I'm SO looking forward to it. Let's see if we'll get a Avatar Shipping war part 2 :XD:
